A listed 16th century country inn, offering quality home cooked food, The
Royal Oak is one of Kent’s top dining pubs, with 4 star rated B & B
accommodation. Steeped in history, serving ale since 1736, the inn today is
renowned for producing excellent food with traditional dishes from
seasonally changing menus, using locally sourced produce, with fresh local
fish, local game and Romney Marsh lamb being specialities.

Here in a quiet corner of Kent, tucked away on the beautiful and mysterious
Romney Marsh, one of the very few remaining unspoilt areas of south east
England and only 10 minutes from Rye, is a peaceful old village inn, 1 of
only 35 listed in the county as being a “Good Pub Guide - Main Entry” and 1
of only 7 in Kent with a "Knife/Fork" award for "... outstanding food".
